October 2010 - Random Thoughts

10/12/2010 - Been neglecting this. Made some long narrow dishes with dividers in them - halves and thirds.

Decided that another basket was in order yesterday. Will put it together today and see how it goes. The glaze firing last week was so-so. Didn't really get to ^10 and the body reduction was very uneven. More fun with the target bricks is in order.

10/18/2010 - Been throwing some large bowls - 12 to 18 lbs of clay. Makes my shoulders scream by the end of the day. And one more basket in the works.

10/20/2010 - another large basket finished. Something about this one bothers me, but I can't put my finger on it.

10/25/2010 - Like this one better.

10/29/2010 - working on some rectangular vessels that sit on arched feet.
